BRIAN SACHS, PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY

Brian Sachs is committed to serving those people who were injured or died as a result of the negligence of others. Throughout his career he has worked diligently toward this goal.

Brian SachsBrian began his practice of law as staff counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in New York State. He was promoted soon after to trial counsel and was responsible for resolving some of the most significant cases for his firm. In 2000, Mr. Sachs decided to utilize his defense experience to become an advocate for those individuals and families injured in accidents. By 2002 he had become the managing attorney and lead counsel of an established personal injury firm. In 2006, he was elected to become a partner at a regional personal injury firm, focusing his attention on personally handling those cases with the most significant injuries. In 2008, Brian leveraged his in-depth understanding of insurance company procedures, his knowledge and expertise of plaintiff’s personal injury claims, and his skill in both litigation and case management, and started his own practice - The Sachs Firm - with the ultimate goal of providing each and every client with his personal attention.

Brian is an active member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.

On a personal note, Brian Sachs was born on Long Island in 1969 and raised in Manhattan. He attended Boston University and earned his B.A. / B.S. degree in 1991, graduating with honors. Brian received an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami in 1992, again receiving honors. He graduated from the prestigious Fordham University in 1996 with a Juris Doctor degree where he received the Archibald R. Murray award for public service.

Brian Sachs is married and has two daughters. He lives on Long Island and is active in his community.

Richard M. Borrelli is committed to representing clients who have been injured or neglected in hospitals, nursing homes, long term care facilities and through the negligence of doctors as well as others. Rich’s career began as an insurance company bodily injury adjustor and medical malpractice analyst. This Richard M. Borelligives him a special understanding of how the defense firm and insurance company litigate these types of cases giving us a significant advantage over the defense in these types of cases.

It is because of this special understanding of the medical intricacies of treating patients correctly such as those with bedsores or pressure ulcers, malnutrition, etc., that Rich Borrelli has endeavored to represent plaintiffs in nursing home neglect and nursing home abuse and medical malpractice cases. In addition to cases regarding bedsores, malnutrition and pressure ulcers, Rich Borrelli handles other malpractice cases such as medical mistakes, failure to diagnose cancer, failure to diagnose illnesses, wrongful death actions, doctor errors, erb’s palsy cerebral palsy, dental malpractice, etc.

Richard Borrelli has been a successful trial attorney for almost 20 years representing clients in New York, Rhode Island, Arizona as well as many other states, pro hoc vice. Rich is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Arizona State Bar Association, Rhode Island State Bar Association, The New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Trial Lawyers’ Association, Arizona Trial Lawyers’ Association, Senior Counsel Member of the College of Master Advocates and Barristers and Senior Counsel of the American College of Barristers. Rich received his J.D. Degree from Jacob D. Fuchsburg Touro Law Center while working full time as an adjustor handling medical malpractice defense.
